I saw a digital video camera at Crappie Tire that attaches to the top of your scope. Has anyone tried these. It was behind the glass in the ammo shelf so I didn't handle it, but I wonder what it would weigh. It retailed for $299.

Video scope just sounds like to much junk in the scope to break. I remember my buddy getting a pair of video bino's, what a piece of junk those were.

What about the new helmet cams that are out there ?? they are small and weigh very little and take awesome video. I am sure it would not take much to rig one to a rifle.

I tried out the Bushnell version from WSS, video quality was poor in daylight and zip in low light conditions. Also vga format, resolution crappy even on the small screen. Picked up a Sony 40x optical zoom handi-cam for the same price and fabbed up a mount for the top of my bushnell 3200 5x15 50 on an Anschutz 190. Recoil shouldn't be a problem on a .22. 16 gig sd card will give 8 hrs of dead gopher action.
