I like to shoot offhand at 20 yards in the winter and look forward to shooting further in the summer from a bench.
My CZ452 Varmint (Top) has a Sightron S-TAC 4-20 x 50 AO with side focus that adjusts down to 10 yards. (Hirsch Precision carries these, & they have a lifetime warranty.)

There are also Sightron STAC 3-16 X 42 AO scopes available.
The 30 mm Burris signature Zee rings come with an extra set of offset inserts. If you combine these with a tapered rail, you should not have to do as much holding over, plus your scope is protected from ring marks.
I used High Burris Sig Zee rings from Mystic Precision, and a DIP rail sent from Kinney's shooting supply. (They ship to Canada.) The bolt handle comes close to the scope, but I have no trouble cycling it.
The Ruger/Kidd 10/22 has a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16 x 50 AO with side focus that adjusts down to 10 yards. They have the lifetime warranty and can be found on the Equipment Exchange.
I'm happy with both of these optics. They both have decent glass and offer versatility in the $689.00 to $749.00 price range.
The 6500 is made in Japan, & the Sightron is made in the Philippines. Don't let that last fact keep you from looking through or trying one though.
