I haven't seen anyone using a scope doubler since the 70's. It was common to convert Lyman 10 power scopes to 20 power with a few of us benchrest shooters in Calgary. I think the fellow doing it was in Washington. Damned if I can remember his name, not that it matters, he is long gone. JUST REMEMBERED . . . Walley Siebert. Great guy, really knew his optics.
john, maybe check with a local camera shop. They may have something that might fit your scope ? My local Cam shop sells spotting scopes and stuff so maybe . . . ?
PS - Have you read 'Chambers' Cascadia books ? "Lights out" for the Westies.
I do; I have them on 1 of my Bausch & Lomb 36x scopes & 1 on my B&L 12-32x scopes. Because 32-36 x magnification is NOT enough [Unless there's mirage, then it's too much!]
I'm actually looking at buying 1 or 2 more for a couple of my 6-24x B&L scopes.
