Scope Eye Relief Adjustability On A Weatherby Vanguard Rifle

I know that the two piece base set for a Rem 700 (Weaver No.'s 35 & 36) will fit a Vanguard. I'd like to put a one piece picatinny rail / base on my .270 Win, for the sake of additional scope placement options. Will a one piece rail / base, for a LA 700, fit? I don't think I need a 20MOA

From what i understand, yes.My Long action leupold base off of my 700 fits my howa 1500 which is same as vanguard.
