Scope for 20moa rail

I have bought a 26" .308 rifle with a 20moa Picantinny rail on top of the receiver.
I heard that some scope may not have enough Bullet drop compensation adjustment for a short range (~ 100 yard).

If I want to shoot anything from 50 yards to 800 yards or 1000yards what kind of adjustment should I look at?

Personally I am looking at the Zeiss Conquest 4-16x with z1000 reticle, Bushness 6500 2.5-14x, anything around $1000.

I have a Nightforce 8x by32x 56mm benchrest,with K Farrell 20moa base on Rem 700 in .223 and it works from 100 to 1000 fine
You might get one of these for $1100 to 1200 look around
