my eddystone has the ladder sights and i want to put a scope on it but the nights and the action is all one big piece so how would a scope go on there and maybe still be able to take it off with ease to use it as open sights side mount ? any advice would be nice thank you

You might want to try the S&K mount for the M1917/P14 Enfield. It is a no drill/no tap mount. Just remove the rear sight assembly and install as per instructions. I like the S&K mounts for the Weaver style scope rings and have used this setup for a long time.
