Scope for .357 Carbine

I have a Marlin 1894c .357 Magnum Lever-Action carbine with a 20 inch barrel and was wondering what kind of scope would work best.

I put a bushnell 2x7 on mine, but I also shoot gophers with it so going to a 7 power was a must.

on my 44 mag rifles, i use the 3-9 bushnell trophy mildot. zero for 100 yd,
1st dot down is bang on at 150 yds. the 2nd dot is bang on at 200 yds.
this is the end of the practical range. i can rattle the gong at 300 yds
by skipping the next 2 dots and useing the crosshair post .
