Hey everyone. I recently put a magwedge rail on my sks and was thinking about what to do for optics on it now. I was thinking a fixed zoom with illuminated crosshairs. A knockoff ACOG or something similar. Im not looking to break the bank. I figure i could spend up to about $600 on optics for the right thing. I intend to use it at the range and possibly for hunting black bears on my buddy alfalfa farm. Either way im not shooting for than 200 yards at the range and often the bears on the farm are with in 25-150 yards sometimes closer.
Heres a little more info on the firearm. I have intalled a kick-lite stock on the sks and i also replaced the bayonet with a bipod. I have a Witt muzzle brake as well but cant seem to get it line up and shoot straight so its not on currently. I also switched out the standard swing magazine for 5/25 round box mags but intend to do a conversion to 10-round XCR magazines soon.
Any advice or suggestions are appreciated!!
