Anyone ever use a Bushnell Elite 4200 1.25-4 x 24mm? I found one on sale for $500 which seems reasonably priced after checking around on the internet. I want to put it on my Cx4 Storm 40 S&W non-res to use for gophers and coyotes. looks good when I looked through it at the store.

I know about the warranty issues with bushnell (I've been reading through the forum a bit) but overall is it a decent scope quality wise?

Thanks

No experince with that scope, but I am currious about the mount/rings you intend to use. Will you be mounting it betwen the iron site's "ears?" Or using a cantilever?

I couldn't resist and had it put on yesterday. Beautiful scope for that gun. :) It sits nicely in between the front and back sights. The guy at the shop said he has mounted this on quite a few AR's and couple storms. I used a medium set of rings I think is what the guy said??? I'm fairly new in the gun scene. The ears of the open sights infringe a little on the scope but honestly when looking through it you can't even tell. I will post some pics as soon as I get my camera working. Compared to the old 22 rimfire scopes I'm used to lookin through this is like a dream come true :)

Sounds like the perfect power range for the capabilities of the cartridge and the intended use. you probably won't even notice the ears after a while.

I'm currently debating what to put on my non-restricted 9mm Storm. It had an aimpoint before it was sent off for the longer barrel but now i'm debating between a leupold 2.5x scout that I have kicking around or a variable in the 1-5 x range

I am using a NCstar 4x scope with quick release rails, works fine on mine even if the BDC is calibratefor 55gr .223
