I have just put my new Tapco intrafuse stock on my Mini-14 and I want to put a scope on it but the picatinny rail on the top of the stock is causing problems. Is there a decent reasonably priced scope out there that is short enough to avoid the rails, but still has a little bit of magnification? e.g. 2x-4x

Sorry, i just went to take a look at mine Mini-30 and have just realized what you mean. lol
the ruger rings are not high enough to clear the front top rail huh?
my solution was to order the rail extension from Fabsports
not rail riser but rail extension that extended from the front to foregrip area to the rear sight area.
I got a red dot on it at the moment and didn't realize what you mean by problems at first.
