Hey Guys,
Want to scope my mini-30
Looking for an all around mid-range (up to 300 yards?)
Will be used mostly as a fun / bush gun
Might try this one this fall for Deer/elk as well as shoots great and with factory folder easy to pack, I am usually within 100-200 yards for the shot or less
Suggestions?
Want to stick with stainless
I have never put a scope on a mini before so any past experience out there?

I have a couple of minis and (6.8 SPC and Mini .30) and use them for reasons similar to yours. I didn't want to add a lot to the weight of the rifle and didn't see a need for a high power scope so I settled on a Burris 2x7. They are compact, tough, and have bright optics. I have been very happy with them. I have to say I don't know that I would use either one on elk but deer out to 200 yds no problem.
I checked and they do make it in stainless.

Thanks Rugerman
I will research the Burris, sounds like a good power for all around use as well.
It should work well for close/quick target acquisition, and i do require that it be tough.
