Scope for remingto 700 sps dm

I'd like a variable with a good high end magnification, like 14x. I'd also like externally adjustable elevation turret. In Leupold, you are likely looking at well over a grand. A quality scope is money well spent. Don't rush into this.
I would be going with a 4.5-14x50 Zeiss Conquest. I have two of them as well as two 4.5-14x44s, and two 6.5-20x50s. They are bright, clear, they track very consistently, and the eye relief doesn't change as you change the magnification like it does with a Leupold.
Id look at a VX II 4-12x40, big discounts on Leupold at the moment. You can also add turrets and change reticles. Warranty work is completed within a week out of the depot in Alberta with out the BS like other companies give. Ive only ever used the warranty once and that was after I bought a guys damaged Vari-X 2 and it was back to me with in a week and a half.
Im out in the open prairies of Sask where its easy to get a good shot out to 400 yards and Ive never had any issues seeing coyotes/deer clearly with a VX II during legal hunting hours. If you have vision problems, you may need to go to something more $$.
