Scope for Remington 597 that won't break the bank

I bought a couple Bushnell banners at Walmart a few years ago but I'm not sure if they still carry them. Amazon.ca usually has not bad prices and sometimes free shipping.

Good advice. Look for a Mueller APV. They had those at a very good price a couple of months back.

It's a 3-9x40

But its centerfire so their for the parallex will be set for 100Y not 50Y like most 22 LR scopes are. But with a AO you can adjust from 10 to whatever.

I only shoot 100m and beyond, and if we don't like it worst case I'll buy a mount and throw it on my m1a lol

A cheap 3-9x with no SF or AO will work OK @ 100 yards, or even less if you dial-down the magnification. However...if a 22 could only be used @ 100 yards or more~I wouldn't have any need for all of mine.

I don't hunt, just plink at the range. Anything short of 100m isn't much fun to me

I have a Hawke Sport HD 4x32AO on a Brno #1 and love the clarity!
