scope for reminton 700 SPS Varmint

Hi all!

So I just bought a Remington 700 SPS Varmint in .308, with heavy barrel for some precision shooting...

now I'm looking to buy a good scope...I was wondering if anyone got some good suggestions?

my budget is around $700-1000

if anyone can give me some pointers and the link to buy it, would be great!! (Personal experiences DEFINITELY welcome!!!)

Just went through it
buddy has a 8x32x56 sightron
it beats out my buddies 6x24 leupold
so this is what I'm putting on my longrange rig

In the EE there is a Sightron 6-24 LRMOA with rings and level for $885 delivered.
I have this same model of scope, and am very satisfied with it.
