I found an Excaliber scope at the local scrapyard. The eyepiece was cocked at an angle, it had taken a 'hit', but I took it home anyway. After cleaning the mud off the lenses, I was surprised to see clearly through it. The third hit with a rubber mallet brought the eyepiece into alignment. Two hits with a screwdriver and hammer brought the lock-ring back true. After cleaning the metal slivers off and oiling the thread, I got the eyepiece and ring turning again. Focus works, as does the 2.5-3.5 power adjustment. This is one tough scope. No caps, but maybe I'll find them when I go back. Looks like this is for a crossbow(?), could I mount it on a Cooey .22??
