Scope height questions

Hi friends! I have recently acquired a rem 700 sps varmint. I have a vortex 6.5x20x44 I am wanting to purchase an mdt 20moa rail aswell as the MDT Arings. But with the 6-10 week lead time ordering from them I’d rather not order the wrong rings. My question is.. what height do I get? I’d like as low as possible. Thanks in advance.
I gather u already have sufficient replies to know but i have the same setup on a few rifles with 44-50mm bells.
All work fine with the “low” 30mm rings from MDT.
MDT makes awesome stuff!
Enjoy!

I am shooting BR, and I like high scope mounts.
I like to have a minimum contact with cheek. You know why only if you have high power scopes.

Also, I was tinkering about this for years and came up with the idea that works for me.
Removed all the MOA picatinny rails from all my guns and installed ZERO MOA.
Bought single piece scope mount with 20 MOA built in.

With this in mind I can swap scopes in between multiple rifles with minimum loss. Couple clicks here and there on multiple distances I can manage with 2-3 shots.

A good one piece scope mount is a gold. Can be expencive, but also I got one SPURR knock of from aliexpress for peanuts.

Especially like the idea the scope clamping is not horizontal, but vertical or 45 deg. Helps with setting up a bubble great time.
