Scope help for XCR

Well as for now I have a Bushnell Elite 3200 3-9x40 on my XCR. Nothing too fancy but it has served me really well. Admittedly I am not doing anything too intense, just hunting and having it as a tractor gun on the farm :)

Yeah i still cant decide what to get. I would like something a little higher then 4x which most tactical scopes are. But i would also like an illuminated recticle, so kind of in a bind. And dont want to spend a million dollars it either. Guess ill have to sacrifice somewhere

I bought from Wolverine supplies a Hi-Lux Leatherwood Camputer ART Series M-1000 Scope 2.5-10X44 for my XCR.
This is one of the best investment I made for this rifle. I shoot at 1 moa at 100 yards. I suggest you take a look at
this scope if your planning to shoot long range with this rifle.

I looked it up that technology seems pretty cool. I Google it and people have a lot of mixed reviews. I anyone else here have any experience with these?

Does anyone have any experience with the eotechs with magnifier? Or the Vortex sparc or strikefire with magnifier?

I've got the sparc. With 2x screw in magnifier.
No issues, works great, magnifier makes it a narrow view. Ide rather a swing mount, really want the lucid 3-5x magnifier but no one has it.

We have the Sparc with the 3x magnifier on jr's AR, it works well, but we use that set up mostly for 3 gun. If you're going out a bit further, you still might consider higher upper magnification and look at your reticle options.

I took it out for the first time today and shot a couple hundred rounds through it. Was alot of fun, no problems at all. Just need to get some sort of scope here soon. I am thinking of an eotech with magnifier, i would like a trijicon but they are pricey.

eotech with magnifier will cost about the same as a trijicon acog.

The Trijicon ACOG is great on the XCR IMHO. This is one of my ACOG's on my buddies XCR in 7.62 x 39 as he wanted to try one out for the hunting season. He was impressed and if he hasn't already ordered one he will be soon.

I use a sightron 3-9x40 on my with quick release rings so I can use the factory sights as well. I also made those quick release. I do not mind carrying this gun around its my go to coyote firearm usually on a 3 point sling on the front counter acts the weight of the pack on the back. Its the .223.
