scope idea's?

Hey guys, I'll be getting my arm's 18 tomorow, so now Im working on what scope I should run. Im looking at the Millett DMR or the Falcon 1.5-5x30 scope. Im not sure which, if either, will hold up to the battering the m14 dish's out... Any idea's. Are they of decent quality?

go with the falcon....I have two of them and it works for close up shots. Good for the bush and making quick shots.

X2 on the Falcon ( I use one on my LMT and it is a good scope ). Consider also an Elite 3200 10X on the M14 - I have used this on one of my M14's and it holds up very well.

in looking again i may have been confused, it says its set up for a 175gr projectile, i was sure i saw a version running on a 155gr

lill late for sugestions lol,already got the falcon coming, well, I hope. They say they were gonna send it on like monday. havent heard from them since they accepted the emt tho lol. checked out the burris, loved it, cant aford it right now tho

You are either going to need a scope with a lot of eye relief or one with a long tube.

Using my FXII 4 power I couldn't fit the rubber recoil pad becuase it added another 25mm of length which made the eye relief unusable.

Leupold scopes have quite a short tube which doesn't help the situation.

If you want a low power scope consider the Nikon Africa series.
