the mueller 8-32 scope from amazon is your best bang for the buck, I just put one on my 452 for playing around......
my dedicated rimfire benchrest rifles have weaver T36 scopes and I wish I had more magnification...and yes even for 50 meters.....
The sightron SIII 10-50x60 scope is my next choice for bench work followed by the nightforce 15-55 competition scope
I will be "that" guy that show up at a 50 meter rimfire shoot with a 80x March scope......you can always dial down a variable scope, but you can't dial up what you haven't got.....so far with what I've seen and read about vortex I couldn't be bothered to try one
