I want to get a couple of scope levels...

What brand do you recommend, and where can I order them from (any dealers on here)?

I think I prefer the type that clamps onto the scope rail, but don't know the pros and cons.

thanks

What will you be using it for? Im not sure what hunters prefer I have only ever used like 3 scopes but my preference is 40mm lens. 30mm is too small and 50mm is too bulky. as far as magnification its up to you, the higher the better obviously, I think mid range stuff would be 2-10x area. Gimme more info :p

there are several offered by Sinclare international (1-800-717-82110) David Tubb also sells one but I haven't got his cataloge handy

I know of 3 types of scope levels. One attaches to the scope base. Two of them attach to the scope, and one of these has a pivot point so that when it is raised it is easier to view in the shooting position. I may be wrong, but you might have to order in one from the US. Anybody?

The 2 most common types are 1s that attach to the picatinny scope rail, which can be viewed without moving your head from cheekweld by using your dominant eye.
The other type attaches to the scope tube.
These do require possibly moving your head to see the bubble.
The rail mount version assumes that the rail is level, I say assume as few rails are truly 100% level to the rifle, they do however give you a constant point of reference, which is what the whole idea is in the first place.
The scope tube mounted levels can be set up to be 100% level with a bit of dickin about, all to the same effect.
We stock both so can cover you which ever way you prefer.

Thanks all, ordered one from ATR:

Does anyone know where to get this level and angle indicator in Canada?
I saw it on the Top Sniper II show and someone on the CGN showed me the link. I think it is a good idea to combine both items into one package.

I was told they will not ship to Canada.

That is a pretty slick looking item! More than I need right now for sure.

Why not phone them first, to confirm that they won't ship....?
Then ask again ;)
