Scope Manufacturers... Best bang for your buck...?

Ok, so I need 3 scopes.

Right now I have 2 Falcon scopes and I have to say, I'm not happy with them. I have a 4-14x44 on my 700 and my eyes are too sore to focus on the target before I can even shoot 20rnds.

So I need something with good glass quality.

I need something like

4-14x44 For my Rem 700
1-6x30 for my XCR-M
and maybe an 8-24 or similar high magnification scope for my .17HMR.

Doesn't have to be those exact magnifications but something in that area.

Is it possible to get really good quality glass for the $600-$800 per scope range?

I'll look into the Zeiss but I don't like that they are only a 1" tube. Most of my rings are 30mm and I'd like to stick with 30mm

You only need 30mm tube if you require the scope to have greater amounts of adjustment, optically there is no difference.

I haven't heard any rumblings, and also remember you're talking about a personal perception. I have several Leupolds and will continue to buy them for my hunting rifles

they may be great scopes, but i will have a hard time dropping $1400 on a bushnell, don't get me wrong, i've got no problem with bushy, i've had great dealing with elite 3200's and 6500's over the years, it just seems a little odd for a bushnell to be in the nightforce/mk4 class.

as to general shooting scopes, i've been migrating to vx2 and vx3's lately and they are nice

I would give the Sightron line of scopes a look if you are interested in 'bang for buck'.

I have a buddy who has done a review of scopes that he owns and it was his view that Sightron and Nightforce were close contenders.

However keep an eye out on the EE for used models.

I like the adjustment option... I do shoot out to 1000yds on occasion. Also, 30mm is better for light transmission.

size of the tube has nothing to do with light transmission.
