I'm having a 22-250 AI built on a Tikka T3 action. It will have a varmint contour barrel and I will be installing a Bushnell LRHS 3-12x44 on it.

I'm torn between installing Talley one piece rings or going with a regular or 20MOA rail and 30mm rings.

Hi Tazzy,

I have a T3 6.5CM coming that's getting 3-12 LRHS mounted as well. I'm going to go with a mounting system that's been solid for me on other rifles. Bedded 20MOA rail. Burris XTR Sigs with as much inclination as possible added.

Personally, IMHO, I wouldn't trust Talley LWs with a heavy scope like the LRHS. Good friends of mine have had them crack with much lighter scopes mounted.

Thanks for the advice. I was leaning toward the rail and rings. I'm just not sure if I need the 20 MOA but I'll probably go that way.
