Does anyone know where I could find a scope mount for my .303 No. 4 Mk1?

I found some in the US but they don't ship to Canada. The ones I found to carry the mount in Canada all say out of stock.

The mount I found in the US is called "Enf 0141" made by ATI (approx cost USD 39.99).

Does anyone know of any other and where to find it?

1. Marstar sells one that looks to me like a copy of the Armalon (priced quite a bit lower than an Armalon last time I looked.)

2, I don't know of any Canadian source for the Cad-Tehnik, (which is my favourite, so I have looked.) Brownells sells them in the U.S. and they used to ship orders to Canada but I haven't bought anything from them for several years so you'll have to ask them yourself.

3. I think both B-Square and S&K mounts have been offered in Canada by Canadian retailers but I can't remember who. Perhaps a little more searching will reward you.

4. You could consider having it drilled for a Weaver TO-1 mount and use Weaver 1" tip-off rings, but if your Enfield is in original configuration or is sporterised only in the wood, i.e. none of the metal is drilled, cut, or ground, best not to start that sort of thing.

3 good aftermarket ones that I know of, but yet to trial & error them.

I'm personally aiming for the ATI.

B-Square model, requires some filing but will fit.

ATI model, seems to be the lower profile of the 3.

S&K model, seems to be the most simple & solid.

L39/L42 sniper model $$$$ :)

Note: The B square model, you can use iron sight as back up and Weaver makes/made a simple rail model as well have yet to hear or a visual on the product.

With the Cad Technik you can also leave the iron sights in place and the scope mount can be easily removed with two thumb screws leaving you with an iron sighted rifle in seconds.

As for the Parker Hale #20, do you have to drill & tap the front base? I'm guessing the #21 goes onto the micrometer sight was at the rear base?

The front base needs to be drilled and tapped for the 2 screws. :)

The Parker Hale bases are what they installed on the Enforcer Police Marksman Rifles. :)

I can see what you mean by the high rings but this would be with a average sized scope...

For Lee Enfield No. 4 and No. 5 rifles. This is used on the Enforcer with PH M21 rear mount and HIGH rings.

For Lee Enfield No. 4 and No. 4 rifles. This is used on the Enforcer with PH20 scope block and HIGH rings

BUT put a scope like this & I can see low rings (If they do make them, would fit)..

All I know of are the High Rings in 1" and 26mm tubes to suit the optics that were available for the Police Forces. Commercial production was "secondary" as I understand it.

By the way, the rings are only .500" tall I believe. No where near what we'd consider "High" rings by today's standards. Actually they are more of a medium ring.

Edit to add:

Model RAHS3(1 inch tube dia) high (.486 under tube) 19 mm dovetail.

The Rings I made where modern "High" rings as you can see (.750" below the scope):

Sorry for the bad picture never figured I'd need to describe the heights of the rings. :)

But the rings on Ebay UK right now are low/medium rings. :)

Looks similar to a set of B-Square or rings....

The reason I'm curious I think my Enfield has been scoped or attempted before, I have 2 tapped holes in the front. It would be pretty cool to have a PH set-up..

I hear ya on the medium heighted rings.

They are a single 19mm (3/4") Dovetail they look similar to scope mounts for 22LR and the like but those are generally more narrow. With its single 60* dovetail verses the double dovetail used today for Weaver/M1913 rings and bases.

I've got a set of the parkerhale bases and rings on a parts #4 kicking around here but someone cut the peep sight off of the rear base so it is only good with a scope now.

If you really want a good base get the Armalon... they ship to Canada no problem, I've got one here, I'll have to take some photos of it.
