what are guys who own these combo's using for a scope mount? any place around that would have the one piece mount in stock still? or is there a better way of doing it? from what I understand they have a 14mm dovetail with a notch for a recoil lug on the one side........
long shot but if someone has something they want to part with PM me.........

Can't remember what baikal are for scope mount width in mm. I have used 3/8 weaver mounts for 22 and lately been using a weaver T010 base that way I using 1" quick release rings

Looks like mounts are available from some retailers in Europe; Not cheap, but at least there's no need to start machining recoil stop pins to an oddball-size dovetail mount - providing you can even find one locally.

Keith: Baikal has 11mm dovetails. Tikka M07 and Valmet 412 also use 11mm dovetails. The side facet angles are different from 3/8" dovetail (60 degrees vs. 45 degrees, if I remember correctly), so even if clamped tight, there's only one point of contact on each side. Looks like TO10 is meant for 3/8" dovetail.

Trade-Ex usually shows a bunch of one-piece mounts like this on their site.

that was my first though, couldn't find one.......so did what any desperate guy would do, bought the only rifle in stock with the right mount attached to it......pretty expensive mount by my math

Factory mounts are $100-125 Tradex or any CZ dealer

try finding one in stock for a CZ 584, easier to buy the ZH305 that had the right one installed.

The one I needed was the Brno UNI CZ 584 ; ZH ; BO 802, 803 which ironically was mounted to a minty 22 savage over 12 gauge ZH305 with 4 power scope, and the price of this particular combo was the same as all the same models with no mount and scope.......

I swage 70 grain jacketed bullets for the 22 high power so all I need to feed this baby is a set of dies and a couple pieces of brass lol

Makes sense on CGN. Now just put a few thousand hot handloads through that unwanted gun, carve a zombie whitetail deer on the buttstock, throw away the recoil pad and the iron sights...and then flip it on the EE for double what you paid! :)

I accept your generous offer.........send me the money

Many of those mounts out there, new and used. Not common, but they are available. Usually around $100
Tradeex is one. CZ factory is another. They are a common dovetail for the CZ / BRNO line.

BRNO / CZ has always since the dawn of time used 3 sizes: 11, 16 and 19 mm. The new ones will fit the old rifles (if the dovetail is correct size) and the old ones will fit the new rifles as well. No planned obsolescene in that lineage.

Now that you mention it, I have a 527 Carbine in .223 which is wearing a set of rings designed and sold for Tikkas dovetails (16mm). They have held and maintained zero for about 750 rounds so far? Mind you, I wouldn't have tried it on a gun with any recoil, maybe not even on a 7.62x39 Carbine, because I had to remove the recoil stop pin. I would think that the same thing would work on that combo gun also, depending on the rifle barrel chambering, as long as you removed the scope when using the shotgun barrel.
