I just bought a Windham Weaponry ar-15 in 7.62x39mm.
I have a Leupold vx2 2-7x33 that I want to mount on it. What kind of a mount should I buy?
I was thinking about a Leupold IMS or a Burris P.E.P.R.
Would either of these be suitable?

I have a WW15 and I use a Burris PEPR mount and its excellent. No problems at all. I do only use a 1-4x24 scope on it so maybe on a really Hubble like scope it may cause issues?

PS you will love the Windham.

If you want a really lightweight mount, look at the Aero precision mount .Its 3 ounces and worked really well on my XCR-L. Brownells has them listed for $90 or $100.

I also have an ADM Recon mount on another AR and if they are within your budget, that would be my preference over the PEPR. One thing to keep in mind is that if you use a brass catcher like the 3BUCC ones, the rail mount does not fit under the ADM Recon.

I would recommend the Aero Ultralite mount. They are really low profile nothing to hang up on and solid.

I have an Aero mount and a PEPR mount. Unless you must have a QD mount go with the Aero mount.

yep, I had all 3, AdM was nice,PEPR was a anchor, Aero was nice. I if the QD is not a deciding factor ,you'll be quite happy with the Areo for half the cost as the ADM.
