So, here is the deal. I have my first AR15 coming in the next couple of weeks/months depending on our CFO. I currently have a scope for it but I don't have rings/mount.
To help you help me, the scope has a 30mm tube, 40mm lens and around 3" of eye relief. I will most likely replace the collapsible/telescopic stock with a regular A2 and I would also like the scope to sit as low as reasonably possible.
From what I've read, I can either mount the front ring on the FF handguard (don't really like that option) or I can get some type of one piece mount. Now there is quite a few options out there but I would like to have your opinion from what you are using/have used. Budget is topped at 250$ for this.
