scope mount for norinco m14

Anyone know were i can buy a scope mount in canada or that will ship to canada.

What kind of mount do you want and how much do you want to spend? The ARMS 18 mount sold by Wolverine is what I have, along with the ARMS 22 rings, and they work well. You could also go with a scout mount option, so look at UTG Tri-Rail and Ultimak. Brownells will ship most things.

Do a search and check the sticky. Lots there.

your gun looks nice needs a new paint job thou. I got the m14 archangel precision stock and love it just can't wait to get a scope.

His name is Jerry and his cgn name is Mystic Precision , someone has a springfield armory mount on the E.E

I would advise going with the Springfield mount. I have one on my M305 and it's great. Steel, 2 mounting screws, no movement or flex. Chance buy but a great one. Remember to use Loctite on the screws. :D

Promag's remake of the original arms 18 "swan" mount is one I recommend. It is the same as the standard swan mount but has the middle rail section removed.
Other than that, the ONLY standard optic scope mount I would put on my rifles is a genuine arms 18.
Do not buy the cheap aluminum scope mounts... Unless you like throwing away optics.
The springfield mounts are heavy, bulky, and the big knobs just love to snag on stuff.... I'll never recommend them.
Smith enterprise mounts are also solid as a rock but are heavy, very costly and a tad overbuilt for civillian applications.
Sadlak also makes a decent mount, but again, for a standard scope mount, anything in aluminum is a waste of money.

X2 on that I lover my Promag and I had 0 ejection issues

Don’t waste you money on a cheep Chinese mount spend a few extra bucks buy a good steel one you will be happier in the long run

I know from experience you get what you pay for

Soon or later they are all made in China anyhow...I found steel mount is too heavy.

"Sadlak's aluminum three point contact mounts will hold zero, will not shoot loose and are as reliable as their steel models given the material differences." That quote is from the owner of Sadlak Industries LLC - 860-742-0227 Ext 14. In other words, there is nothing wrong with the "right" aluminum mount. :)

You raise a good point. The sadlak aluminum would be the ONLY stand alone receiver mounted aluminum mount I would give the nod to. But hey, don't take my word for it, do your own research on the canadian and US forums.
A great many threads discuss this topic, with advice from many experienced M14/M1A shooter's and builders.

What would one of those cost up here in Canada?
