scope mount mosin?

I bought my westrifle repro for 480 dollars. I've seen a number of repros for sale lately (some for just under what the batch of ACTUAL REFURBED SNIPERS cost).

If you can't get a repro for 480 or less, buy one of the actual sniper refurbs. They are awesome. Collectable. And very fun to shoot. They will likely be an investment.

I'll post pics tonight guys, I'd also like to get an old trench gun, but aren't they pricey? There's the 1896, and 1912. I'm assuming the m12 would be more available?

sorry for late post

I have a 1944 Izhevsk with PU all matching serials(poss refurb), originally came from tradex, imported 2012, they are 650 if you want to check it out.
I am very happy with it but the PU is more like an acog, however super easy to use and very solid.

Accumounts makes repo mounts for several milsurp rifles including PU mounts. They say they ship internationally. I'm considering scoping one of my Mosins with their 1" ring mount instead of the 26.5mm rings so I can use a Western scope with a 1" tube and still have the PU look.

Cool! Im in the progress of reconstructing an M44 right now. Gun had never been fired but had wood damage/ metal scratches etc. The scope mounting idea interests me and this answered a lot of questions. Can't wait to get to work on this thing.
