I would like to have dual optics on my m305. It has a 3-9x40 bushnell that works great, and I have a vortex sparc sitting idle in front of me. The sparc requires 3 slots to mount properly so the smaller ring mounts for micro dots or fastfires aren't going to cut it.
I'd like to put the red dot on top of the scope. Offset mounts are not ideal IMHO as I find the scope blocks my field of view.
Weaver Optics has a scope mounted rail that would be perfect: Part 48370 - Tactical-Style 1" Scope-Mounted Picatinny Adaptor - MSRP $37.95. Only problem is I can't find it in stock anywhere.
I'd appreciate any suggestions on where to find the mount or best practices on running dual optics. I did find a couple threads through the search:
http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...th-offset-for-red-dot?highlight=red+dot+scope
http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/foru...l-Red-Dot-AND-a-scope?highlight=red+dot+scope
One shot tactical has a nice unit, the KAC OFFSET MOUNT FOR T1. However I don't know if the mount will fit the sparc and it is 3x the price.
