Hello every one. Trying to decide on a reflex site to mount on the scope tube for a AR10 or XCR-M. The scope will be a Vortex Viper PST 4-16X50mm. Via either GG&G B-Comp mount or Larue scope ring reflex mount adapter.

Options are:

• Trijicon RMR
• Doctor Optic
• Jpoint

Which would you decide on and if so why based on AR10 or XCR-M compatibality.

None of the above as I'd recommend going with something like an Aimpoint Micro on a 45 degree offset mount, or at least going with a 45 degree offset mount instead of the scope mount.

An Aimpoint Micro will be the most durable option, however the Leupold Delta-point I think is a very solid option as well.

Unless of course you get the wing-protector "shim" mount for it, I had a Doctor Optic (sold it to a buddy for him to do exactly what you want to do) and it was an awesome little sight. Great clear glass, very light, nice and solid although I wouldn't trust it to any sort of impact, which goes for most of the hooded-style MRDs.

Looks like this combination will not work with the Vortex Viper scope & larue mount I was thinking of due to turrents must not be more <= to 1/2" to run that 45 degree offset mount with a T1 Micro. I see what you mean though it sure is a better choice of optic far as durability & such. Might have to re think the scope choice as this seems to be the most compact/tight to scope center bore combination.
