Guys, I'm going to place a scope on my Winchester 356 M94 BB. It's an older one and I finally have the proper bases, because although it's AE, the forward base required the radial mounted screw positions. I was wondering if anyone has a similar setup. I think I'm going to go with an M8 fixed 4X Leupold. Anyone think I'll need extension rings. It looks like it's going to be pretty tight on this receiver.

Any thoughts from fellow 356 users?

I have a 375 ae with the radial front holes, the only mount I could find was the actual winchester one, everyone I asked always handed me the one with the inline holes, which I have on a handfull of other ae's. I didn't need ext rings just had to roll the scope onto it's left side to avoid ejected shells hitting the windage turret.

Hey, that's interesting about the scope adjustment knobs. I'll have to see if the M8 interferes with it.
Yes I have the proper Winchester mounts. Twice I got stuck with the wrong ones. Mostly with friends who had thier heart in the right place.
Thank you!
