scope mounting on sks

I bought some mounts and scopes and some combos from the USA through eBay and had no problems with shipping. They worked very well. Marstar (marstar.ca) seems to have the same stuff already in Canada at a fair price, and I've used them before too.

$7 whole dollar? where the hell was i when it came up for auction?

added: i see it now, they sell for $20-24 and the ones that comes with scope rings sells for $40 .

I've seen jackasses at some of our local gunshows try to sell those for $150.00!

I just ordered one of their cheapy mounts and a cheapy 2x-6x scope. I figured what the hell its only $48.00 delivered if it doesn't work.
Will let you know when it comes in.

i just called the guy and he said i can pick it up at richmond mall. no shipping charges.

now i gotta to order enuff to make the drive over there worth while, im not gonna have any problem .:D:D:D

I have posted these pics before but I'll post again as this topic has once again surfaced. I tried 4 different rear cover mounts for SKSs and have never been happy with the results from any of them. I tried the rear sight replacement rail and found that it too shifted zero if hit or bumped. I put on a Choate drill and tap and am very happy with it, this mount holds zero great and allows for rifle disassembly without having to remove the mount. I haven't tried the CZ mount Calum referred to yet, I might on another project in the future.

I have had good results as well with the rail on the gas action cover with the Tapco stock. I shot several 3 to 4" groups at 100 with an Aimpoint on this rail. I really wasn't expecting that result!

that choate bracket is exactly what i want. but i can't find one anywhere.... milarm...p & d... WGP etc... any one know where i can get one?
thanks

Well just finished putting my sks mount and scope on from Futong. Had to grind the front nibs abit to get it to line up but all in all went on easy.
I am going to Abby range on Saturday I will tell you if it holds zero or if its junk.
