Scope mounts and rings for savage 12 fv

If you plan on going out long distances, consider a 20MOA rail

If not, any mount system will do... weaver bases, picatinny rail, etc.

on a 40mm bell, you might be able to get by with low rings (pending what rail you get). Otherwise mediums will clear.

Depends on your budget.... from baseline rings, to QD (quick disconnect). Don't skimp on the rings, get something quality (vortex, burris, leupold, etc).

Rails about $100ish new.
Or watch on the EE for deals.

But based on your needs, a pair of weaver bases for your rifle should be more than enough, and save you big bucks

Weaver rail/bases should be about $20.
Then spend some money and get some solid rings.

Check the EE (shameless plug... I even have some available) for some quality names at discounted prices. Or if you’re local to a gunstore, go in and pick some up.
 
okay so i bought a Warne rail. part number is 7666 for people who had trouble like me. also bought warne rings. boy did i pay the price lol. 170 dollars seems steep to me but i did buy it from grech outdoors in mount forest Ontario. i guess you pay for the knowledge and small town location. but hope this helps somebody as cabelas who sold me their exclusive rifle that i had 0 knowledge about didnt help me. this rail works on savage 10s 11s 12s and 16s i believe. he said all round short action savages. cheers boys happy knew year!
