I have to admit I know very little about firearm optics and I know even less about the mounts.
I considering a Muller APV scope on my Marlin 60SS & now have to consider decent mounts.
I was told steel is better than aluminum for reasons of temperature stability and so far I've considered Burris & Millet mounts, both in nickel finish to match the scope.
One CGN supporting dealer has the Millet's & I don't know any with the Burris in Nickel (silver).
Any comments about either of these brands?
