Hi all, I am new to the long range shooting world. Bought my first scope at Sail (gift cards for x'mas) It's a Bushnell Banner 6-18x 50mm. I will mount on a Lee Enfield Sporterized. So my question is, when I was at the store and sales guy was showing me this scope as a display it was crystal clear. I didn't get a chance to ask him about the adjustable objective lens. It has markings which I assume is yardage? Can anyone shed some light, see below for pictures of the scope. Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks

Yes that is for adjusting parallax. It is probably in yards, I have a Bushnell Trophy in 6-18 and it has yards in white and metres in green. When I am hunting I keep it at 100 yards (in case I don't have time to adjust). I can't recall with that model if there is a reticle focus and that would be at the eye piece end and is solely for focusing the reticle. Use the adjustable objective to focus on your target.

Cheers

I'd be willing to bet there is an instructional manual in that box, given if it was read a few
times could possibly shed sum light to the delema to yer curiosity?

I did read the manual kamlooky but thought someone might be able to explain in layman's terms as I had mentioned I was a newbie but the instructions did shed "some" light on my "dilemma". LOL
