Scope on Browning Medalist?

Greetings All, While I love the feel and function of my Medalist my eyes are not working as well as they used to, and I'm considering adding a scope. My Ruger MK2 came with a 2x scope and it works very well for me. My question is: could I mount a scope onto the top of the Medalist rib so that I don't have to drill/tap any holes in this beautiful pistol? I'd like to leave it stock. Thanks, al.

Those pistols have a vent rib if memory serves, and you used to be able to buy a mount that clamped onto the rib. Might have to buy used, but it should work. - dan

I believe BME makes a "no gunsmithing" mount that attaches to the ventilated barrel rib.

Unfortunately BME won't (read doesn't have an export permit) ship to Canada. I have one for my Unique that came via friend in the US. Good mount excellent craftsmanship,blame the bureaucrats!
