Howdy folks !!

Finally put a scope on my MN.

I used a scope base made by S&K Mounts. The install was easy.

The scope went on easily as well.

I will need to adjust the scope base to bring the front of the scope down a tad though.

Next I'll need to buy some commercial soft nose ammo and sight in the scope in time for deer season !!

Scope mount fits in rear sight base. Just needed slight file work to slide right in.




The scope is a Bushnell 3X9 LER (long eye relief)

Thx, this is the first time I do this.

I was recommended to use an S&K mount if I wanted to leave my Mosin as close to milsurp specs as possible. The rings came with the mount.
 
Did you shoot it before mounting the scope? I'm interested to see the difference.
How much did you pay for the mount & scope? From where?

Why are small background intricities always commented on in user photos? Geez.

Nice mount. No offense, but I don't give a damn about what you're wearing. Lol.

Yes, I shot my MN plenty of times before scoping it. It was accurate with the iron sights. I haven't finished tuning the scope mounts and will report back once that's done.

The scope mounts are from S&K Mounts in the U.S. and cost about $85 with postage and handling.

The scope is from Wholesale Sports and was $95.

Sounds like a pretty good price to slap a scope on a mosin. While I was already interested in picking one up, this peaks that interest that much more.

Can't wait to hear how you like it once you can put some rounds through it.
