I'm not sure if it's my eyes or not, but I'm finding the scopes mounted on both my M305s (one with an ARMS18 mount, the other with an M14.ca CASM mount) feel too far forwards, meaning, I have to push my head forward to get a clear sight picture.

On both rifles, the scopes are set as far back as they can be.

Is this normal? Anyone else having a similar issue?

The M305 with the ARMS18 is mounted with a Hi-Lux CMR 1-4x24mm.
The other M305 has a Bushnell Legend HD in 3-9x 40mm (on the CASM)

Are there scopes with slightly longer eye relief?

Yeah, the CMR has a short eye relief of 3", and I notice it more with it than the Bushnell Legend which has an eye relief of 3.5".

Looks like I need scopes with longer eye relief.

May I reccommend the Nikon P series scope mounts? (L mounts)
Now, I know some will say these are AR mounts but I've run them for a year and a half now and have yet to have a problem with my zero being offset. Built like a brick ****house. Two bucks and a nice black bear harvested as well with my m1a build sporting these. I happen to have the same problem as you. My pop reccommended these and I haven't had a hitch since.

my apologies. I tried adding a picture of my setup but no dice.

I just bought a cheap Bushnell trophy xlt 1.5-6 X 44 in a 30 mm tube. I believe it has 3.9" eye relief and works well with my CASM mount and some quick detach rings. And yes you need long eye relief and a cheek riser.
