Scope/Optic Mount For a S&W Revolver?

If my freakin transfer ever gets approved I will soon have a S&W 617 22 revolver. Since I have a very good handgun scope and a fairly good red dot I would like to try and mount one of these on this gun. Are there any Canadian suppliers that could possibly provide a mount for this gun, providing of course one exits? TC
 
On my 629 it is drilled and tapped on the top strap so you remove the rear sight and put the scope mount in the groove where the sight was and secure it with three screws. I am not sure if they make a mount for your model but does it have a drilled and tapped screw hole in the middle of the top strap?
