What is the best optical ,red dot or scope for the new Ruger sr22

what are you going to shoot? plinking? targets? for plinking and goofing around, the red dot will do but if you want accuracy for target shooting beyond the 50 yard limit, consider a 3x 9x scope or more magnification.
