I have just put a redhead rimfire scope on my marlin 22 WMR bolt action rifle.
The issue is that the zero tends to wander after the first 2 or 3 shots. Does anybody have advice on how to fix this? Is the rimfire scope meant for 22lr only?

Loose mount screws, either the screws to the receiver, or those that actually clamp the scope would be my first guess. The second, would be that it's a cheap POS scope.
It's not impossible for a stock bedding issue to crop up on a 22 either. (Just not likely)

The scope is a $49 Bass Pro brand pos & the wander is about 5-7 clicks off up or down & 5-7 clicks left or right. The scope does not wander in the same direction everytime. Should I just chuck this scope & get off my wallet?

Is it still under warrantee? If so, take it back. The innards are damaged.
Any rimfire scope should be fine on a .22 mag though.

i agree with sunray. if it's still under warranty take it back then get of your wallet and get a cheaper center fire rifle scope. the objective is much larger, you'll enjoy shooting it more and be happier with it in the long run. you'll need to change the rings to.
