Yup a rail not a saddle mount. Iknow I will need to drill and tap the receiver. I wanr to try a red dot on the gun or some such item.
Have you done this? If so what model rail did you install.
I yried a saddle mount made for the 12 ga. It was snug enough on the receiver sides but there was a gap at the top placing that rail much too high for comfortable use without a high cheek piece. Ive never seen one for the 20ga but all things considered the price of saddle mounts is really out there and not worth it IMHO
