Scope reccomendations

No one has mentioned SWFA - they are decent, I think, particularly with the Mil-Quad reticle and turrets. A buddy uses his fixed 20 x for longer range gongs and spotting for other shooters. Mine is a fixed 12x. Just very subjective - I have not weighed them - but that SWFA fixed 12x feels much heavier than my Leupold fixed 12x.

For me, I would like to see some of these scope manufacturers have a fine cross hair option with some of those High powered variables. Forget all those crazy full reticles.
I agree. I have a couple Leupolds with their fine duplex and I absolutely love them.
Not tactical, and I know in certain disciplines shooters use the drop and windage features, but for my informal target shooting it's perfect.
I looked at the Cabela's Covenant when they were blowing them out for like $199, but I couldn't get past the super busy reticle.

Hope this helps. IMHO I shoot ELR, and hunt. Love my NXS and ATACR. I’ve recently been playing with VECTOR optics continental 34 mm line of scopes 3-18 50mm and the 4-24 56mm FFP mil scopes. Glass is German and really nice. No distortion or dispersion. Clean edged to edge view. Huge dial. 44 mil on the 3-18 and 34 mil on the 4-24. Turrets are crisp and so far perfectly repeatable. I’m shooting a 338 edge and 300 win mag. So far the scopes are taking the abuse. As a bonus they have locking caps on elevation and windage. They also come with rings at what ever height you need. Reticle is comparable to any of the usual suspects. Not as thin as my beloved MOAR-T. I think PRS guys will appreciate these scopes, I’m still getting my head around mils and FFP as I’m an old school MOA SFP guy. Price point with taxes shipping etc around $1300 CAD. Hope this helps!

Just picked up a sig sauer tango4 4x26x50
Comes up 1008$ at cabelas.... only bought it there as they actually have the best price..... I am very happy with it. But like the post before me says Sightron is really good and the only other scopes I use 😀

I also would take a look at the Delta Javelin. I picked one up from Hirsch Precision and am very happy with this scope...34mm main tube, 56mm objective, illuminated reticle, nice turrets, parallax adjusts down to 25 yds, and comes in two different reticles. Also has a zero stop and locking turrets....lots of features for this price range. Have only read positive reviews on this scope. Good luck with whatever you choose.

is tesro the only place to grab these in Canada?
