Scope recomendation?

A cousin of mine is wanting to get started into some local benchrest and is going to be picking up a Savage BV. He is looking for a decent budget starter scope. Any recommendations? Ive heard some good things about Mueler . Any dealers in Canada deal in them?

i have a hawk 6-24 varmint sf on my savgae mark 2 f class rifle love the scope clear and holds a great zero

Meuller scopes are very inexpensive for the quality, I have had great experience with them. For bench I would go with the 8-32 model with side focus, very nice fine crosshair with a dot as well.
