Scope recommendations

Hey Guys

Looking for scope & mount recommendations. My range goes out to 300 yards but would like to compete with this rifle out to 600-800 yards.

Budget: 1500.00 for scope.

Appreciate any suggestions

1500 you could get into a used Night force, or sightron. sightron is currently the best bang for buck scope on the markey today in the opinons of many shooters.

those would be my 2 top choices to recommend to you

but what sort of competing do you have in mind?? knowing that would allow recommendations based on use to be either first or second focal plane

If it were my $1500 I would buy a well cared for NXS 5.5-22 or even a Leupold Mk IV 6.5-20 before buying a new Sightron.

Out of the crop of new in box I usually recommend Sightron for the value buy. If I had $1500 to spend though I'd look at NF barely used.

I think that would buy you a brand new Nightforce BR scope (versus the NXS) as well..
