I am going to be mounting a 44mm Obj vortex 30mm tube scope on a rail, what scope ring size will I need? I am mounting it on an SL-8 so I need to go as low as possible and unfortunately there are no local retailers so taking it back if it doesn't fit is not an option. Any help is greatly appreciated. I was looking at the vortex mediums but was wondering if I could get away with lows??
