I just picked up my first gun, a Savage FV-SR and a Bushnell .22 Rimfire scope. The scope came with the rings, which I believe are "Dovetail". It appears that the FV-SR has weaver or pickatinny rails pre-installed on it. Do I have to buy new rings? Is this something I can buy at Walmart? I live in a smaller town and would love to go shooting soon, rather than waiting for them to be mailed. Thanks!

"...have to buy new rings..." Maybe. You may need another scope altogether. I can't tell from Savage's picture if the rail is designed for RF rings or not. You familiar with rimfire scope mounting? In the old days, the rifles had grooves milled in the receiver about 3/4" apart. If the rings you have and the rail are that size you're ready to put the scope on. Otherwise, you're looking at buying either another scope(a regular 1" tube scope) or rings. The scope you have a 1" tube or 3/4"?
I don't think you'll find scope rings in Wally World. Crappy Tire should have some though.

I guess the rings were made for a smaller rimfire rail and were not dovetail. I found some rings at a local outdoors shop and got some Weaver standard 1". Thanks for the help.

"...rings were made for a smaller rimfire rail and were not dovetail..." Made for the dovetail grooves on a .22. As long as you've got it sorted out, it doesn't matter though.
