Scope rings for a 452

Just getting back into shooting after a 10 year absence I've ordered a CZ 452 Varmint .22 and I'm going to mount a Leupold VX II 4-12x40 AO scope. Just wondering if anyone out there is using the same combo and what Leupold rings did you use? The 11 mm. medium or 11 mm. high rings? Thanks.
 
Welcome to the forum. I see you have good taste in rifles. I just got the 452 (17HMR) American last year and am very pleased with it.
You should take your rifle to the gun shop to fit it with rings for the scope you have. Make sure the bolt handle doesn't hit the ocular when pulled back as this has been an issue.
Let us know how it shoots also.

I just put on a Leupold Vari-X 4X12 X 44 AO on my american and used a Leupold high rings, I think you would be ok with Medium rings with that scope! :)

Thanks for the replies. I found your post earlier badbrass, so it looks like I'll be using the high rings. I'll take the scope into the shop when the rifle arrives to make sure everything fits.
