Newbie here.
I recently bought a Tikka T3 in 22-250 and have matched at Zeiss Conquest 6.5-20 x50mm scope (I got a great price on it and the reviews seem ok, so hoping I made a good choice).
I would like some of your insights on an ideal set up. I know it is best to get the scope as low as possible, and give the 50mm objective lens that makes things more challenging. The owners manual in the scope also states ""Special requirements should be met when sighting in the Conquest 6.5 – 20 x 50 MC rifle scope. To be able to use the full range of the elevation adjustment, the rifle scope should be mounted on the rifle at an angle of approx. 20 angular minutes with commercially available mounting systems (correspond to 21 inch/100 yards or 58.4 cm/100 m). "
I was looking at the Optilock system by Sako figuring that it might fit the Tikka best, but I do see there are many other options.
Just wondering if anyone has a similar set-up or can recommend one.
Thanks.
