Scope suggestions for a 50BMG rifle

I was planning to use my Horus Vision Raptor 4-16x50 scope, but is that too little magnification to shoot out to 1KM? Or would something in a 20 or 26x magnification be better? I like the reticle system on the Horus Vision.

No reason it shouldn't work. Enough magnification to get ya going...can always switch later if ya feel the need for more. I personally hate those Horus reticles, but whatever floats yer boat.....
What 50 are ya runnin'?

Right on....be sure to give us a review once you get her going....was rather interested when I saw those kits....seems like a good entry level deal to me. If I was starting over, I'd definately try one.
